doing better today

According to our mom, Mike seems to much more comfortable today. They have his pain managed and he ate breakfast and lunch. The doctor listened to his chest and said it sounded clearer which means the meds are working. They do a chest x-ray later to make sure it is improving. His respiratory therapy also helped him to "cough up" some of the congestion today. Mike has been great at telling the nurses just what he needs and they are happy to oblige which makes him feel better about being there. We're not sure when he'll come home yet, but PROBABLY tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and well wishes.

We too are happy and relieved that Mike is doing much better - and sooner than expected. Hope that he does indeed get back home today. We'll be calling later to see how things are going. Love to Mike and the family. - Aunt Nancy

Kyle went and visited Mike yesterday at the hospital, I got to talk to him on the phone and he sounded really good..at that point just ready to go home. He is such a fighter, and I'm so glad he is getting better so quickly.

Love you Mike:)

We are so thankful that Mike is doing much better and fighting the pneumonia. That was a scary situation and we felt so bad that he was in so much pain. He had such a great week before and we had just read his blog post about making a gallery in the lift. But now he is back on track! Love to Mike and everyone. Hope everyone stays healthy through the holidays. I guess everyone has to take care so that Mike isn't exposed to any illnesses.
Love,
Aunt Susan and Uncle Tommy
