New invention perfect for Mike-the off-road wheel chair!

Developed by a student whose father suffered from Lou Gehrig's disease, the off-road wheelchair kit will sell for $4,495. Among the other devices the students have created are an aluminum crutch that folds up to fit into a purse and a mechanical retriever that can grab a backpack from behind a wheelchair.

There's also a great story about a new walking device. You can read about it at http://www.argomedtec.com/video-a-life-regained.asp

Also, Mike did well on his minor exploratory procedure on Friday. We awaiting the results, but expect that things will be status quo. He had a great weekend and got to spend time outside since the weather was so nice.

Please remember the Harley fundraiser this Saturday, Sept 6th and the Greene Turtle Fundraiser next Tuesday, Sept. 9th.

Also, register EARLY for the golf tournament on Nov. 1st and contact Shannon at shannyboo52@gmail.com for sponsorship opportunities.

Thanks!
-Kim

Wow Kim - this is quite the invention! - This young inventor has come up with just the thing for Mike if he wants it. We are indeed waiting for any word post-procedure on Friday; hopefully, the source of the infection - and the end of it - are in sight. Your Mom was telling me yesterday what a good weekend Mike had with lots of friends visiting and perfect weather to be outside. And the Red Sox are keeping things very interesting; it will be a photo finish with Tampa Bay. I'll be giving Mike a call tonight or tomorrow. Also will be in touch about the Greene Turtle and the Biker Party (and back on the website for the golf tournament) this week. Love to All, Aunt Nancy

Wow is right...that is massive! Mike would have a blast on that thing. Hope all of the fundraisers coming up go well. We wish we could be there for both of them. We will definitely be at the golf tournament though, we can't wait. Send our love to Mike, tell him we said keep working hard.

Love to all,
Robin & Yves
