Mike's Driving Lesson

Mike had his driving lesson today and he loved it! It was great for his self esteem and really gave him an idea of what he will be capable of and took his mind off of the recent complications.

This Thursday is the Team Meeting with all of the specialists on his case to determine his possible discharge date. We're excited to hear when this will be because Mike's looking foward to getting home to his house, although he has his favorite nurse Delphine for the next 5 nights so he may be content for a little while!!

Zack and I and Dad and Skipper will be partying with Mike for the Super Bowl this Sunday! He'll have his usual chili and wings and maybe a couple "drinks"....!!!!

It sure is totally awesome! Mike must be so happy - this is so encouraging. When Mike is happy - we are happy. I hope too that the other complicating factors are getting better. We look forward to hearing how the team meeting goes today - and that Mike can be home sooner than expected. Meantime, Delphine is one lucky nurse. Enjoy the Super Bowl party - wish we could watch it with you. Love - Aunt Nancy

Great news all around for Mike. Yes, when Mike is happy and doing well, we are all happy too. Also was happy to hear that all the Medicaid issues have been resolved at least until July. Jean, good job for all the work it took to get that straightened out! Excited about all the upcoming fundraisers too! Have fun watching the Super Bowl Mike. Love to all,
Aunt Susan
