Mark your calendars!!! Thanks to Crystal and Shannon, we have the Greene Turtle in Germantown honoring Mike and the Mike Gotzens Foundation with a 10% donation of all sales on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008! Cool! Kim, you'll have to save room to eat/drink some for me since I unfortunately won't be able to make it. The golf tournament though is a definite go!
The Gotz Strength wristbands are selling very well here in Boston, along with additional donations. Your spreadsheet idea was great and I am keeping track of everything here on our end in MA. All in all, I am impressed at the response we have received so far.
Aunt Nancy will be bringing the other 300 down this weekend (150 Adult, 150 Youth), along with any money we have collected throughout the week. Seems like we'll be ordering more bands before we know it!

Everyone please stay tuned for additional details. There will be flyers that will be going out shortly. We are waiting to hear if we can secure a band/DJ on a pro-bono basis before we complete the flyers.
Like Kim said, the Greene Turtle (Germantown) will be donating 10% of the ENTIRE DAY'S sales to Mike. Therefore, tell everyone you know to go their for lunch, and again for happy hour/dinner. We will have a 50/50 raffle, we hope to have some door prizes, and of course we will be selling a lot of "GOTZ Strength?" gear for the whole family!!! Tell everyone you know and stay tuned for additional details!!!

All of this is so incredible. The Gotz Strength movement is unstoppable. The wristbands have already raised so much money and the upcoming golf tournaments and Green Turtle Gotz Strength Day should be very successful (I plan to buy some 50/50 raffle tickets long-distance!). And, of course, all of those involved in the planning and renovation to Mike's house are doing wonderful and generous work. But most of all - Mike - who is doing the most work of all of us - and doing it very well. Keep your spirits up, Mike, and keep getting stronger every day. We'll see you this weekend.
