Mike's Moving!

Mike is scheduled to leave the hospital tomorrow at 10am! He is going to the National Rehabilitation Center in Washington, DC. I do not know the exact address, but will post this as soon as he is settled in sometime tomorrow. We ask that he have no visitors until Friday and so on please! The visiting hours go until 9pm, and the daily part of the schedule is unclear as of right now as well. This is a great step in the right direction and Mike is very happy to get this news!

Kim,

Every post these past couple of days just keeps giving better and better news. Thursday will be a busy day for Mike getting moved and settled in at National Rehabilitation Hospital (here is the address from one of your Dad's older posts: National Rehabilitation Hospital, 102 Irving Street, NW, Washington, DC 20010 / Main Telephone: 202-877-1000). We will not bother Mike until Friday and beyond as he gets acquainted with the clients and staff at NRH. Happy to hear that Mike is very happy with this news.

Go Mike - with Love. Thanks for the information Kim (love you too).

This is a great way to end my workday. I check the post right before I leave everyday and this just made things so much better! Like Uncle Tom and Aunt Lisa said, have a safe trip to DC tomorrow!! I'll be thinking of you.

Once you get there be sure to keep your eye out for the best looking nurses, therapists, etc. I'm sure you'll be the talk of the town once you get there. As soon as you are settled in and ready for visitors, Yves and I will be on our way. We are thinking of you constantly and love all of the good news that's been posted lately.

Thanks Kim for the latest update, I know you must be thrilled to have Mike closer to home (as is everyone). Can't wait to see you and keep up the good work!!

As always, GO SOX!!!

Lots of Love,
Robin

Hi Everyone,
What progress Mike is making this week after the tough time he had last week. We are so thrilled he is moving to D.C. tomorrow. He will continue to make great strides towards recovery the minute he gets there. We'll see you soon once you're into the new routine, and lots of love to you all.
Love,
Aunt Susan, Uncle Tommy and Kevin

I'm so excited to hear this, I tried to post yesterday but the blog was down:( YAY Mike!!! I know you are excited to get out of that place, but you will miss the Confederate White House being right next door I am sure, don't forget to bring home your swag from there:)

I am so excited to see your face (probably Sunday) and give you hugs and kisses. Everyday this week I have been uplifted with better and better news, I know you are going to pull out of this with flying colors, you are so amazing.

I love you!
