UPDATE!!!

I just spoke with my mom who had some very good news with regard to Mike's progress. She was applying lotion to his legs and feet and he could feel every touch! Before, he had some feeling in his right leg, but now, she said she would poke his foot and he would know she was poking it, she would wrap her hands around his foot and he would know she was specifically wrapping her hands around his foot and he could tell this on both legs! He was lying flat during this entire time!

His nutritionist was coming to meet them as well and his pain is a little better today and of, course, his spirits are high!

We all knew that he would walk again, but to hear that he is getting feeling back so soon is just incredible!! I firmly believe this is what happens to those who fight for it, believe in it, and of course have such a wonderful group of family and friends that surround them with such uplifting and positive thoughts! Shannon said...: I am out of town right now with little access to email, Kyle got a phone call this morning and he came back into the room crying, told me the news- and we both sat there crying tears of happiness. This is the most amazing news, we couldn't be happier.

This couldn't have happened without Mike's determined attitude and great spirit. I have never been so honored to know anyone as I am Mike, he is such an inspiration to me.

Is there any words from the doctors on this new information? I am just curious as to what the professional opinions are on this amazing news.
